NRL fans on the Coffs Coast are set to watch their stars in action with both the Warriors and Rabbitohs naming near full-strength sides for Saturday's trial match at BCU International Stadium.

New South Sydney signing Matt King will line-up for only his second outing as a South Sydney player, while established Rabbitohs stars Dave Taylor, Mick Crocker, Roy Asotasi and John Sutton will also start. Sam Burgess will start from the bench.

Last year's NRL runners-up, the New Zealand Warriors, will also go into the match with the majority of its stars in the run-on side.

Coffs Coast footy fans will get to see the prodigious talent Shaun Johnson at half back while Manu "the Beast" Vatuvei will line-up on the wing fresh from a strong performance for the NRL All Stars.

Rabbitohs fans will have a chance to see their team before it runs out on to the field on Saturday with the club hosting an open training session at the stadium.

The training session will run from 6pm to 7pm on Friday.

Coffs Harbour City Council's Sara Hinds said that ticket sales have been strong with fans recommended to pre-purchase tickets before the match.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.coffsharbour.nsw.gov.au/NRL2012 or from the Coffs Harbour visitor centre. Tickets will also be available at the gate on game day from 4pm.
